Questioning the future of a book reading in this visually orientated society, where we’re occupied by fragmentary information and fast contents from which we grasp a bit and build a bigger picture in a different way than we used to. Bringing the visual and fragmentary together i created a landscape book for the modern man , that can still be read and perceived as a whole story. As tools for this concept i used the story of E. Hemingway - The Old Man & The Sea and for the visuals Google Maps imagery from Cuba, where the story originally takes place.
